Responsibilities
- Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial statements.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, variance analysis, and budgets for senior management.
- Manage general ledger reconciliations and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors during annual audits and tax filings.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting workflows and systems.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions with a focus on cash flow management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification is a strong plus.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or tech environment.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of US GAAP accounting principles and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
