Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions with precision
- Reconcile bank statements and financial accounts weekly
- Prepare VAT returns and quarterly financial reports
- Maintain digital ledgers using Xero and QuickBooks software
- Support month-end closing procedures
- Collaborate with senior accountants on financial analysis
- Ensure compliance with UK GAAP standards
Qualifications
- Proven bookkeeping experience (2+ years)
- Proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage software
- AAT Level 3/4 qualification or equivalent
- Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Excellent communication and time management skills
