Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions with precision
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts weekly
- Prepare and distribute monthly financial reports
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and account reconciliations
- Assist with quarterly VAT returns and year-end preparations
- Support month-end closing procedures
- Collaborate with senior accountants on financial analysis
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Xero accounting software
- Strong understanding of UK GAAP and VAT regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Proven ability to meet deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Relevant accounting qualification (AAT or equivalent preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
