Join our dynamic finance team as a Weekend Bookkeeper at Boston Financial Partners. We're seeking a meticulous professional to manage financial records during weekends in our downtown Boston office. Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and reconcile bank accounts
- Process accounts payable/receivable and payroll transactions
- Generate monthly financial statements and variance reports
- Manage client billing cycles and collections processes
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and state regulations
- Utilize QuickBooks for data entry and account analysis
- Support month-end closing procedures
Qualifications
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks proficiency
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros)
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical abilities
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Professional certification (e.g., CB) preferred
