Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements on a weekly basis.
- Process payroll and assist with accounts payable and receivable functions.
- Perform internal audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Assist with year-end tax preparations and financial reporting.
- Maintain accurate digital filing systems for all financial records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- CPA, CMA, or EA certification is a strong plus.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is mandatory.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) required.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
