Responsibilities
- Perform accurate month-end and quarter-end close procedures including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements with clear insights for stakeholders
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and ensure timely processing
- Conduct comprehensive account reconciliations for bank, credit card, and general ledger accounts
- Assist with tax preparation and compliance documentation as needed
- Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure financial integrity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience with weekend/holiday availability
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel (advanced functions), and accounting software
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with financial reporting and reconciliations
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
- Tax preparation experience a significant plus
- Excellent communication skills for client/stakeholder interactions
