Responsibilities
- Oversee daily financial operations, including accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), specifically during weekend shifts.
- Prepare and reconcile monthly financial statements, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries with high accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings, audit schedules, and financial reports.
- Process and verify payroll for weekend staff and resolve any payroll discrepancies immediately.
- Maintain accurate filing systems and digital documentation for all financial records to ensure easy retrieval.
- Collaborate with the weekday finance team to ensure seamless handover of financial data.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and generally accepted accounting principles.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work independently without constant supervision.
- Must be available to work Saturday and Sunday on a rotating basis.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
