Responsibilities
- Perform weekly and monthly bank reconciliations and credit card audits to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Prepare and post weekly journal entries, adjusting entries, and accruals.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements and reports.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Process accounts payable and receivable invoices for the weekend cycle.
- Maintain and organize financial documentation, spreadsheets, and audit trails.
- Collaborate with the full-time accounting team during month-end close procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 2+ years of experience in general accounting or a related financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during weekend shifts.
