Responsibilities
- Perform high-volume bank reconciliations and variance analysis for the weekend reporting cycle.
- Prepare and post journal entries and manage general ledger accounts.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes specifically for weekend business units.
- Review and approve accounts payable and receivable transactions to ensure timely payment.
- Generate and analyze financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L) for management review.
- Maintain strict adherence to GAAP and internal financial controls.
- Assist with audits and compliance documentation as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required. CPA or CMA certification is a strong plus.
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of professional accounting experience.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), and accounting software.
- Availability: Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays on a recurring basis.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional analytical skills with a zero-tolerance for errors.
- Communication: Ability to communicate complex financial data clearly to team members.
- Self-Starter: Ability to work independently in a remote environment without direct supervision.
