Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, for the weekend period.
- Prepare and reconcile bank statements, credit card reconciliations, and general ledger accounts.
- Process and verify invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payment.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in our accounting software.
- Collaborate with the team to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance with internal controls.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a weekend or high-volume environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during the weekend shift.
