Responsibilities
- Invoice Processing: Accurately review, verify, and process incoming invoices in a timely manner, ensuring all supporting documentation is complete and compliant.
- Vendor Management: Communicate effectively with vendors to resolve discrepancies, answer inquiries, and maintain positive relationships.
- Account Reconciliation: Perform daily and monthly account reconciliations for accounts payable and credit card transactions.
- System Management: Utilize ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, NetSuite, or QuickBooks) to update vendor information, track payments, and generate reports.
- AP Aging Analysis: Monitor accounts payable aging reports and take proactive steps to address overdue payables.
- Data Entry: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions and vendor data.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial processes adhere to company policies and internal controls.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting.
- Software Proficiency: Strong proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to identify errors and inconsistencies.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with internal teams and external vendors.
- Night Shift Availability: Must be available to work the designated night shift schedule.
- Education: Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
