Responsibilities
- Perform monthly and weekly general ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently.
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports for management.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax documents.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
- Collaborate with the finance team to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 2+ years of professional experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or auditing.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including formulas and Pivot Tables).
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday).
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
