Responsibilities
- Execute full-cycle accounting operations including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and month-end closing procedures
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare financial statements and management reports ensuring compliance with GAAP
- Process payroll and tax filings for weekend operations teams
- Assist with internal audits and financial controls implementation
- Collaborate with weekday accounting teams for seamless handoffs and data integrity
- Utilize QuickBooks and MS Excel for financial analysis and reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience with month-end close
- Expertise in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software proficiency
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and regulatory compliance
- Exceptional analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines in a weekend schedule
- Excellent communication skills for cross-team collaboration
