Responsibilities
- Perform daily financial reconciliations, including bank statements and credit card accounts.
- Process payroll and generate accurate weekly reports for management review.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements and tax documentation.
- Maintain and update the general ledger to ensure accurate financial tracking.
- Review and verify invoices for accuracy, coding, and approval before processing payments.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal financial regulations.
- Provide exceptional support to the full-time finance team during weekend operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and MS Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot discrepancies immediately.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
