Responsibilities
- Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations for multiple client accounts.
- Process and verify accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Assist in the preparation of weekly and monthly financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial policies.
- Reconcile credit card statements and general ledger accounts.
- Assist the accounting team with month-end close procedures.
- Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation as needed.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic financial statement preparation.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during weekend shifts.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
