Responsibilities
- Perform daily reconciliation of bank statements, credit cards, and general ledger accounts.
- Process and review accounts payable and receivable transactions with high accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports and analysis.
- Maintain organized and secure filing systems for all financial documents.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax filings and government reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with the finance team to identify process improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and Microsoft Excel (Advanced functions).
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday) as required.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
