Responsibilities
- Execute monthly and quarterly financial close procedures with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and general ledger account verifications.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions for the week.
- Assist in the preparation of detailed financial reports and variance analyses.
- Prepare and review journal entries to ensure proper recording of financial data.
- Collaborate with the full-time finance team to resolve outstanding discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related professional certification (CPA preferred).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a weekend shift role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and reconciliation processes.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a recurring basis.
