Responsibilities
- Perform weekend accounts payable/receivable processing and reconciliation
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and balance sheets
- Manage weekend payroll processing for assigned client portfolios
- Conduct weekend bank reconciliations and variance analysis
- Assist with weekend month-end closing procedures and journal entries
- Provide weekend financial reporting support to senior accountants
- Maintain organized digital and physical financial records
- Collaborate with weekday team members for seamless workflow continuity
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
- 2+ years of professional accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of GAAP and weekend accounting protocols
- Proven ability to meet tight weekend deadlines with precision
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance a plus
