Responsibilities
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Process and post journal entries for the weekend period.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Maintain the general ledger and perform variance analysis.
- Support the audit process by providing requested documentation.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and GAAP standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or retail environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
