Responsibilities
- Manage and process Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions with a high degree of accuracy.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and ensure all weekend activity is properly recorded.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports and closing procedures.
- Review and verify invoices, expense reports, and vendor contracts for compliance.
- Assist the finance team with payroll processing and data entry as needed.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for financial documents.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in ledgers and financial records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proven proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be available to work Saturday and Sunday (or rotating weekends).
