Responsibilities
- Reconcile Accounts: Perform daily bank reconciliations and account variance analysis to ensure all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare weekly financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements for management review.
- Payroll Processing: Manage the end-of-week payroll cycle, ensuring all deductions and additions are processed correctly.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process invoices, verify expenses, and issue payments to vendors.
- Data Entry: Maintain accurate and organized digital and physical records of all financial transactions.
- Compliance: Ensure all accounting practices comply with local and federal financial regulations.
- Assist with Audits: Provide necessary documentation and support during external or internal audits.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably with a focus on month-end close processes.
- Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks, Excel (advanced functions required), and Oracle NetSuite.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Schedule Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy when handling financial data.
- Problem Solving: Ability to identify discrepancies and resolve accounting issues efficiently.
