Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements on a weekly basis.
- Prepare and post weekly journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and trial balances.
- Process and review payroll vouchers and expense reports.
- Perform internal audits and financial controls reviews.
- Communicate with department heads regarding financial inquiries and discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Associate in Accounting (AAS) preferred.
- Proven experience in general ledger accounting and financial reporting.
- Must be available to work weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday).
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage accounting software.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
