Responsibilities
- Oversee the weekend general ledger close process and ensure all journal entries are accurate and timely.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Process payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable transactions.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and variance analysis for management review.
- Assist with quarterly and annual tax preparation and filings.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for financial records.
- Perform internal audits of financial procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, with a preference for weekend or shift work experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with high attention to detail and accuracy.
