Responsibilities
- Execute weekend month-end closing procedures and reconciliations
- Process payroll and accounts payable/receivable during weekend shifts
- Prepare financial statements and variance analysis for leadership review
- Ensure SOX compliance and internal controls adherence
- Collaborate with weekday team for seamless financial operations
- Manage weekend tax filing deadlines and regulatory submissions
- Implement process improvements for weekend accounting workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 2+ years of public/private accounting experience
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Weekend availability mandatory (Saturday & Sunday shifts)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance (TX/OH focus)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
