Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial statement preparation
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Utilize QuickBooks and Excel for data entry and financial analysis
- Support tax preparation and documentation for individual/business clients
- Conduct internal audits and maintain organized financial records
- Collaborate with cross-department teams on budgeting and forecasting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 0-2 years of accounting experience, including internships
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks software
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills for client/stakeholder interactions
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a high-volume environment
- Professional certification (CPA, CMA) preferred but not required
