Responsibilities
- Manage the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and provide variance analysis to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to maintain healthy cash flow.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial reporting and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a remote or hybrid setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliation, and budgeting processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial data.
- Ability to work independently with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
