Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including GL entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing with bi-weekly efficiency
- Conduct variance analysis and support budget forecasting initiatives
- Collaborate with audit teams and ensure SOX compliance readiness
- Implement process improvements using accounting software (QuickBooks/Oracle)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in GAAP, reconciliation procedures, and financial reporting
- Expertise in accounting software (QuickBooks, Oracle, SAP) and MS Excel
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to meet deadlines in fast-paced environments
