Responsibilities
- Financial Reconciliation: Manage the end-of-week reconciliation of bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Journal Entries: Process and post weekly journal entries, adjusting entries, and accruals in compliance with GAAP.
- Reporting: Assist in the preparation of weekly financial reports and variance analysis for management review.
- Compliance: Ensure all weekend accounting activities adhere to internal controls and regulatory requirements.
- Support: Provide analytical support for month-end close processes and assist auditors with documentation requests.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of accounting experience, with specific experience in weekend or part-time financial roles highly preferred.
- Software: Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, or similar accounting software. Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) are mandatory.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (e.g., Friday–Monday or Saturday–Sunday) on a recurring basis.
- Skills: Strong analytical mindset, exceptional attention to detail, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
