Responsibilities
- Process high-volume weekend transactions with 99.9% accuracy
- Prepare monthly/quarterly financial statements for review
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements
- Assist with VAT returns and tax compliance documentation
- Support month-end closing procedures on weekends
- Collaborate with weekday finance team for seamless operations
- Implement and improve weekend accounting workflows
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent accounting qualification
- Minimum 3 years' experience in financial accounting
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Experience with Xero or QuickBooks accounting software
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- UK GAAP and HMRC compliance knowledge
