Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile weekly bank statements and credit card transactions.
- Prepare and post journal entries for weekend activities.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and variance analysis.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable for weekend transactions.
- Perform monthly inventory counts and reconciliation.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial regulations.
- Assist the Finance Manager with ad-hoc reporting needs.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic tax principles.
- Ability to work independently with high attention to detail.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
