Responsibilities
- Perform daily and weekly financial reconciliation of bank accounts and general ledgers.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions with a high degree of accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, GAAP standards, and company policies.
- Conduct variance analysis and prepare necessary supporting documentation for audits.
- Manage and maintain fixed asset registers and inter-company reconciliation.
- Support the finance team during the month-end close process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- 3+ years of general ledger accounting experience required.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during weekend shifts.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
