Responsibilities
- Execute month-end and year-end closing procedures during weekend shifts.
- Reconcile bank accounts and financial statements with a high degree of accuracy.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports for executive management review.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documents and regulatory filings.
- Maintain accurate general ledger records and manage accounts payable/receivable.
- Ensure full compliance with GAAP accounting standards and company policies.
- Collaborate with the week-day finance team to resolve complex accounting discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 2+ years of experience in general accounting or financial reporting.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, Xero).
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and efficiently during weekend hours.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA certification is a strong plus.
