Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Manage month-end/year-end closing processes with multi-state compliance
- Lead internal audits and SOX compliance initiatives
- Develop financial models and forecasting for CA-based entities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and variance analysis
- Maintain GAAP compliance and implement accounting best practices
- Mentor junior accountants and process optimization initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years public accounting or corporate finance experience
- Expertise in multi-state tax compliance (CA focus required)
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel (VBA a plus)
- Proven experience with SEC reporting and IFRS standards
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Remote work experience with self-discipline
