Responsibilities
- Perform end-of-week financial close procedures and general ledger reconciliation.
- Process and verify weekly accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Prepare and review monthly financial reports and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state financial regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial documentation and filing systems.
- Assist with year-end audit preparations and special projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance is preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during weekend shifts.
- Professional demeanor and excellent communication skills.
