Responsibilities
- Execute month-end closing procedures including journal entries and reconciliations
- Process payroll and vendor payments with precision and timeliness
- Analyze financial data and prepare weekend-specific reporting packages
- Maintain digital and physical financial records with exceptional organization
- Collaborate with weekday finance team during handover periods
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial controls
- Support weekend tax preparation and documentation requests
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of accounting experience with weekend shift availability
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and financial software
- Proven track record of reconciling complex accounts
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced weekend environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of North Carolina tax regulations
