Responsibilities
- Execute the weekend closing process, including trial balance preparation and financial statement generation.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts with high accuracy.
- Review and process accounts payable and receivable transactions to ensure timely payments.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and local tax compliance.
- Maintain accurate digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
- Identify discrepancies in financial data and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the week-day accounting team to ensure seamless handovers and reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is a plus).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions required).
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during weekend shifts.
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
