Responsibilities
- Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures with high accuracy.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings.
- Review and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
- Ensure strict compliance with internal controls and GAAP standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in a corporate setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is a significant plus.
- Strong analytical skills with an exceptional eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently during weekend shifts.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
