Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Process payroll for multiple entities accurately and on time.
- Assist in tax preparation and compliance filings (1099s, W-2s).
- Reconcile credit card statements and review expense reports.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding account status.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Strong working knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Associates degree in Accounting or Finance preferred; High School Diploma with equivalent experience.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.
- Valid state ID and proof of residency in Florida.
