Responsibilities
- Financial Management: Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Bank Reconciliation: Ensure all bank statements and credit card transactions are accurately reconciled on a weekly basis.
- General Ledger: Maintain the general ledger by performing periodic account analyses and preparing adjustments.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare weekly financial statements and reports for management review.
- Payroll Support: Assist in the preparation and processing of payroll records for the upcoming week.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial processes comply with GAAP and local regulations.
- Record Keeping: Organize and archive financial documents and records for audit purposes.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional accounting experience.
- Certification: CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- Software: Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software; Advanced Excel skills required.
- Schedule: Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays (weekend shift).
- Skills: Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
