Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile weekly financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Prepare and generate weekly financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Assist in the preparation of payroll processing for the upcoming week.
- Ensure all weekend accounting tasks adhere to GAAP and internal control policies.
- Collaborate with the full-time accounting team to resolve month-end closing issues.
- Maintain and organize financial records and digital filing systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting.
- Ability to work independently with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable attendance and availability to work Saturdays and Sundays.
