Responsibilities
- Perform daily accounts payable and accounts receivable processing for weekend transactions.
- Conduct thorough bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and analyze weekly financial reports, variance analysis, and cash flow statements.
- Assist with the month-end and year-end closing procedures, with a focus on weekend deliverables.
- Process payroll for weekend staff and manage expense reports efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, GAAP, and company financial policies.
- Maintain accurate digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 2+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical skills with a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team during weekend shifts.
- Strong communication skills and professional demeanor.
