Responsibilities
- Perform weekly bank reconciliations and credit card statement reviews.
- Process and verify weekly payroll transactions for departmental staff.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and general ledger entries.
- Conduct internal audits of financial documents to ensure compliance with policies and GAAP.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable tasks for the weekend cycle.
- Reconcile discrepancies and investigate unusual account activity.
- Support the finance team with ad-hoc data entry and filing tasks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or finance environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
