In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the financial integrity of our operations. You will manage end-of-week financial processing, reconciliation tasks, and reporting, allowing you to enjoy your weekdays free from work obligations.
Responsibilities
- Process weekly accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and timely.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure data integrity.
- Prepare and review weekly financial reports and variance analysis.
- Assist with month-end close procedures and journal entries.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for financial records.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax documentation.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero).
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables required).
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturdays and/or Sundays).
