Responsibilities
- Execute month-end closing procedures and reconcile accounts during weekend shifts
- Prepare and analyze financial statements with precision for client portfolio
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and ensure timely processing
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements for weekend operations
- Collaborate with senior accountants on complex financial reporting projects
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and industry-specific regulations
- Utilize QuickBooks and Excel for financial data analysis and reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- CPA certification or active pursuit preferred
- Proven ability to manage financial operations independently
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication abilities for client interactions
- Available Saturdays and Sundays with flexibility during peak periods
