Responsibilities
- Perform month-end and year-end financial reconciliations for general ledger accounts.
- Process and verify accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Prepare accurate financial reports and variance analysis on a weekly basis.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements to ensure data accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and audit schedules.
- Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, with experience in weekend or closing roles a plus.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel (advanced functions), and SAP.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday).
- Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills.
