Responsibilities
- Process high-volume accounts payable transactions with 99.9% accuracy
- Reconcile vendor invoices, purchase orders, and delivery documentation
- Manage payment cycles for 500+ vendors using SAP and Oracle systems
- Resolve payment discrepancies and vendor inquiries within 24 hours
- Assist month-end closing procedures and financial reporting
- Maintain organized digital filing systems for audit compliance
- Collaborate with procurement and accounting teams on process improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of accounts payable experience in high-volume environments
- Proficiency with accounting software (SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks)
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros)
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- AP certification (CAPP or CTP) highly desirable
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently during night shift (6 PM - 2 AM)
- Experience with 1099 processing and tax compliance
