Responsibilities
- Execute monthly closing procedures, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Manage weekend accounts payable/receivable processing and vendor communications
- Prepare financial reports and analyze variance trends for leadership review
- Coordinate weekend audit support documentation and compliance checks
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and supporting documentation
- Assist with quarterly tax filings and year-end financial statements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience with weekend shift availability
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Strong understanding of GAAP and SOX compliance requirements
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during weekend shifts
