Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete month-end and year-end closing process on Saturday and Sunday.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring all invoices are processed and payments are made on schedule.
- Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and tax documentation.
- Maintain and update internal financial controls and compliance procedures.
- Collaborate with the management team to provide financial analysis and recommendations for cost-saving initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Must be available to work Saturday and Sunday (Monday through Friday off).
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
