Responsibilities
- Perform weekend month-end closing procedures including journal entries and reconciliations
- Process and verify accounts payable/receivable transactions with precision
- Prepare weekend financial reports for executive review
- Assist with weekend payroll processing and tax filings
- Maintain accurate weekend transaction logs and audit trails
- Collaborate with weekday team on weekend financial activities
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 2+ years of accounting experience with weekend shift availability
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- CPA certification or actively pursuing preferred
- Experience with financial reporting and reconciliation
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
