- Perform weekend-end month-end closing tasks including journal entries and reconciliations
- Process weekend payroll runs and ensure timely employee compensation
- Manage weekend accounts payable/receivable cycles and vendor communications
- Prepare weekend financial reports for senior management review
- Maintain weekend banking operations and transaction monitoring
- Support weekend tax filing preparations and compliance checks
- Collaborate with weekday team for seamless financial continuity
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent accounting certification
- Minimum 3 years of weekend or shift-based accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (Sage/QuickBooks)
- Strong understanding of UK GAAP and tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial tasks
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proven experience in multi-currency financial operations
